The MADD Problem
What is MADD?
Since 1980, one organization has been spearheading the assault on Drunk Drivers and their allies. That would be Mothers Against Drunk Driving, or MADD for short. MADD started as the idea of a mother who's daughter was killed by a "drunk driver". MADD has largely moved unopposed, moving from a grassroots organization to a multi-million dollar revenue generating "non-profit organization". The organization has spread from the US into multiple nations, and has a following of many thousands of people. MADD claims to have reduced the number of drunk driving deaths in the US as a result of their legislative advocacy. This organization may sound alright from the outside looking in, but upon closer examination, a much darker and more sinister picture can be observed.
